I'm having issues drinking water...?

Other things are fine. but I have a hard time swallowing water. I'm becoming increasingly dehydrated, so bad that my pee is yellow-ish brown-ish. Also, after every time I eat, even if it's something little, barely anything, I feel nauseated

I think this really requires a trip to the doctor. Drink juice for now, if you are having trouble with water.

Is the water cold enough? I think this is a mental block you are creating for yourself, and you should really seek professional help.

cold water is harder for me to drink, and it's easier for me to drink at my dad's than my mom's. could this be a reaction to stress?
Report as
Yes, of course it could be.

Did you know that the human body is made up of over 70% water (if you are drinking enough)? If you don't drink water, you will die. Water is our life source, and it is good. You could try going in a different room to be alone when you drink water, but don't be scared of it. It's only there to help you, and make you feel less stressed :)

I love swimming so i know im not afraid but my mom has recently adopted a psychotic dog (which she is trying to get rid of now) so there has been more stress.

Unless you have a physical problem that is the underlying issue, the problem might be all in your brain. So here's an idea - change your brain. How do you do that? With hypnosis. What you have would not be considered a "normal" behavior. Anything you learned, you can unlearn. Hypnosis works at the subconscious level to change the behavior. After your session, this behavior is now the new normal and you will go about your life as if this is the way it always was. Look up a good hypnotherapist in your neighborhood and have a chat. This should be a "one and done" therapy session.

Any water from anywhere or just at home? It could be how the water is treated. Personally, I HATE softened water. It makes my mouth feel drier than before I started drinking it. Reverse Osmosis treated water is pretty good. Well drawn water is iffy based on where the well is located. Surface water is the best - filtered and cleaned for contaminates, of course.
