I need help quick!! This is bad!

My little sister just swallowed a whole container of adults chewy vitamins...it was a large container, but she throught it was candy and managed to get into it...she's 10 years old going on11...will she be ok? What should I do?

Dial 911 now. The dispatcher will send help... And they are really super friendly. And relax. She'll be okay.

Call poison controll and try to have her drink milk

Call 911 and ask for poison control. They'll walk you through any necessary steps!

It won't be serious, but she can get a really mean tummy-ache, followed by some really mean constipation. The idea of a glass of milk from thatcrazygirl is good. It will help prevent nausea.

I try not to give medical advise if the situation could be serious. There are different procedures for overdoses of all kinds. Induce vomiting would be my educated opinion but I don't want to mess with someone's life long distance. Scary stuff, right?

Well you should bring her to the emergency room as soon as possible because its bad for you to eat a lot of those and epically adults so bring her to the emergency room

Go to hospital. I dont know the english term of it but we Turks say(Direct Turkish to English) They will clean her stomach.

I think what some people say here is either they will flush her stomach, or pump her stomach. Either way all three mean the same thing

Children CAN overdose on vitamins call 911...now.

i think call 911 and have her drink milk lots of milk tell us if she is ok.I have a 10 year old sister i would hate to lose her.

Take her to the ER as soon as possible, if you don't have a car, then call 911.

I hope you don't see this because you are on your way to emergency or you are on the phone with 911. Where are your parents? Never guess with meds and children. Now move quickly please..

Because...I'm just trying to get some more opinions so I can be informed before he gets here! If both of my parents weren't informed/home/able to help, I would not turn to ask.com. I would i deed call poision control or 911. But because that is not hr situation, I turned to ask to inform myself a bit more.

Thank you for understanding :) my dad is giving her milk and says that there was nothing in the vitamins that could really hurt her...so we are just going to keep a close watch on her. Thank you for your answer!

How could you ask and not just call 911? Are you kidding me. You should not be left with a minor if you had to ask what to do. Sorry just saying what others would not say
