Lmao.... I would think that it all boils down to what happened behind the scenes. Did Santa treat Rudolph any differently like the other reindeer... I think that would be the big factor b/c the other reindeer really didn't gain anything. I would say that the premise is that reindeer in general are azzholes that you need to stay away from.
Yep, somewhat, I'd have to say. "The moral of the story" is intended to be that it's okay to be different, but there's more to it than that. Rudolph is eventually accepted after being shunned because of his (different) red nose, but he's only accepted by all the others AFTER he's proven himself to be useful... so, yeah... basically, everybody ignores Rudolph 'til they need him. :-/ (Hmm... not such a nice story, is it..?)
