What does it mean when you tell a guy you think he's cute and he says his dad knew it

I've liked this guy for a while and last time I saw him at church we were talking and he pulled it out of me, as we were walking out the back of the church he said his dad figured it, what does that mean

his dad might have been telling the guy you like that u like him, maybe his dad can tell stuff like that, i sure can.
