My dentist told me that I should wait 48 hours but if I couldn't, just don't draw too hard. You don't want to suction the blood clots out. I had no problem smoking and keeping my clots intact. Yes everyone is telling you not to smoke but I don't think that is what you were asking. I am just being honest and answering the question that was asked. I am not taking a stand on smoking either way.
maybe a day or two, and if you're stopping for this right now, maybe try to quit right completely... it's quite common for people to try and quit ratger than smoke for the rest of their lives. and i'm not trying to preach or tell you what to do, just saying if that seems a good option to you
The worst case scenario is you will get dry socket It happened to me within 3 days Pretty sure it was because I was smoking the same day I had them out I would try to wait a few days. I know it's hard but dry socket it so bad
Just by the very nature of this question, I'm prompted to ask: "Smoke WHAT?" Marlboro? "Smoke 'em if ya got em" Weed? You may want to lay off of that stuff for awhile unless you're growing your own. But you may want to just try quitting especially if you're as young as I think you are. Cigarettes are NOT cheap these days, and weed should best be left alone until you're at least 21.
