How long can my dog stay out in the winter

we live in Minnesota. our dog is a four year old yellow lab

Report as

Depends on how cold it is. I recommend only up to 20 min if its not running around. It is playing let the dog be and let it inside when the dog seems to get cold.

jlbonacci is correct, if you have any compassion at all you should NOT leave your dog out at this time of year. IT'S TOO COLD!!!!!! Even with fur all over his/her body.

Lowheadroom

That all depends on whether he has a dog house that is elevated and heated.
