What do you do when you forget the 3 digit code to a padlock?

I got a lock to go on a locker but then i got pulled out of school to be homeschooled. And forgot the code to my lock. How do i figure out what it was?

You try every combo from 000-999 if you can handle the grueling task. Otherwise, use something to cut it down like cutters, lasers, etc.
