Learn lucid dreaming. Its actually supposed to be a lot easier for people with bad nightmares.

Well, it is usually better to think positive before bed and go to bed at an earlier hour. Also, find somebody to talk to not just a journal

These are just dreams, you have them because you think of them before sleeping. Try not to think of them.
There might be medication for this. Try asking your doctor about it.
-Dreams mean...alot of different s***...as long as your not pissing you pants when you wake up..everything is fine....i know this bro...i've pissed my pants because of a dream that was like...for a whole week!
well i don't know what to tell you but you should see some one because it might mean something you and your family is look over.
do you remember anything bad happening right before the dreams started? that could be it, but if it's stressing you out you might want to think about therapy
Try to be calm before you go to bed and think of happy thoughts. Dreams like that can mean all kinds of different things....I don't think you should worry about. But if you want you can call someone that you think might help you, like a health professional that specializes in stuff like that, they should tell you what it means and what you can do to help stop the dreams.
Try listening to music before bed.

i don't know if this might help or you might think that i am crazy but when i was very young i use to have scary nightmares and one night when i went to bed my mom put a tiny little bible under my pillow and never ever had a nightmare sense then you may use it as a last resort but you might leave that option open
Learn to realize that you're dreaming and then you can stop it. It's called lucid dreaming, and it's the greatest thing EVER, as you can do whatever you want. The thing is that you need to do constant reality checks, to tell the difference between reality and a dream (Which gets very hard if you can easily remember your dreams). Simple RCs would be pinching your nose and trying to breath through it, or counting how many fingers you have. These work the way they do because while sleeping, you aren't physically plugging your nose, and so you can breath while holding your nose. The finger counting works because most brains finds it hard to count more than five at one time, so that you may have eight fingers in a dream. But, while doing RCs, make sure to really TEST the world around you. Really think to yourself: "Am I dreaming?" And question the world around you. I warn you, though. The dream world is a disturbing place... Sorry about the wall of text I just slammed on you.
TL;DR: Lucid dreaming can solve your problem.
It would be best to try and be calm before u go to bed maybe have some tea and when u are about to fall. Asleep think happy thoughts they say that whatever you r thinking about before u fall asleep is what u dream about if it continues maybe ask a doctor also there is therapy they also say that nightmares are caused by stress or anxiety good luck
when i was little i had night terrors and they could get pretty extreme and vivid.. the way i try to stop them is to stay away from negative thoughts and think about things that you like.. or listen to some music or watch a movie.. this didnt always work but i try my best to stop nightmares from happening to me
If I don't want to have a dream I think about dreams b4 bed and it seems like every time I think about dreams b4 I sleep I don't have them. Idk maybe I'm weird but it works.
