Kindle Fire (I have one and it is awesome). It has good picture quality and you can adjust the brightness. It also has a fairly long amount of battery life. I would rate it 5 out of 5 stars because you can do more than just reading. :) hope this helps

I think it's a dedicated ebook reader. I think u get free 3G data from atnt only to be allowed to download new books. You might wanna do research on it. If u want games, u might need to look in another tablet

I recently got an ipad and I have to say that reading on it is great! In addition, there are a lot of free classical books as well as some other great titles. Defenitly a great reading device but only get it if you want to use the other features, because the ipad has a steap price.

Depends on what you're reading for books without pictures I use my nook simple touch with glow so you can read at night. For text books it's the ipad, definitely better than a kindle fire because of the speed and size of screen.

The nook! To prove it they sell it at some book stores like Barnes and Nobles , that's were I got mines! You can play games & watch tv & more too, you download books , even chapter books for a dollar or two and a few cents , probably most likely $1.25.

The Nook HD+. It is really nice and a great size and you don't have to use it for just simply reading. What's also fun is when you read an actual physical book. That's always fun...

I would vote for the Amazon Kindle Fire, it's cheaper than the iPad and there are many e-book resources you could get from Amazon.

if you only want to read, then get a nook (they are probally cheapest). if you wanna read and play apps, get a kindle fire (a little more expensive). but if you wanna go full out and use facebook, the internet, itunes, apps, music, get an ipad (you can buy books on ipad, and also get free samples of books to try them out. its called ibooks, and ipads are alot of money) goodluck!

Nook tablet or iPad. I had a kindle it sucked. The nook and iPad have good apps too. If you have both you can get the nook app on your iPad so then you have all your books on your iPad that's what I have. Kindle fires aren't as good as people say they are.

Amazon kindle and if you went to use better than that use SamsungGalaxyTab10.1 It is better than iPad. I use it already.
