I hated school and studying. Now I wish I had paid attention in school, because there are so many things I don't understand. All or most young people hate studying..probably because somebody makes you do it. Try to do it anyway.

Find a subject you are really interested in and read up on it. For my daughter who hated to read, it was minerals and rocks. once she started reading, she didn't want to stop.
