Do you like non-fiction movies or fiction movies?

I hate fiction movies, causes is fake stuff. love the real stuff. Which movies do you like?

Well when you get down to it..all movies are fiction of a sort. A documentary or a movie based on true events is still the vision of the person making the movies. What they took from a situation may be different than what someone else took from it.

In photography class one assignment usually given is for the entire class to take a photo of a specific object. They are all looking at the same thing, however, not a single photo will be the same when they are compared. Everyone puts their own spin on it.

Factual movies/documentaries are the same. The person making the movie puts their own spin on it. Also, you must remember that history is written by the victors, not the losers of a particular battle.

In my first creative writing class we were given an assignment that was so hackneyed that it was obvious that everybody would come up with a similar story. I went out of my way to do something original and, when I got to class the following week, discovered that everybody else had done the same thing. None of us came up with the same interpretation and none of us used the cliche. I guess that's akin to your photography class.

Idek. Action movies, Tim burton movies, romantic movies, sad depressing movies, funny movies, scary movies, theatre musical horror movies, based on a true story movies, AMC movies, and so many other kinds lol

I love fiction movies and books because they allow me to escape reality and see different things. Non fiction can be experienced through out life in my opinion :)

Michael Caine was once asked on a US TV program what he cosidered to be the difference between American and British films. He said, "In America you make movies; in England we make talkies."

In other words, the Brits put more emphasis on plot than action.

To answer your question, I prefer fiction, as long as it has an interesting story line. Movies like Indiana Jones and Star Wars leave me a bit cold. LOTR, on the other hand, is majestic.
