Sometimes it is sometimes its not. I would recommend going to college. I didnt think I would find a job in college. Then I joined a club related to my major and they had all these connections with companies. There are proffesional organizations for most careers that you can join and network through.
Also saving money is just as imporant as making it. You can pinch pennys and wind up a millionaire just by not spending and being smart with it. My grandparents did. They didnt have very good jobs. Grandpa was a radio repairman. Grandma was unemmployed. They saved and saved and invested there money in cheap rent houses that they fixed up a little bit. Kept savin'. They went from broke to being millionaires but it took a long time. And a lot of hard work and self control.
Buy silver coins. Look what happened to gold. Gold used to go for 200 an ounce now its 1600. Silver could do the same.
Most people who 'make it' do so because they worked long hours doing things most people would not do. They aren't necessarily smarter, they just do the hard dirty work most people won't. They don't quit when times are tough. They don't listen to negative commentary. They believe in themselves. Success is not handed to you, it's earned. Most rich people have suffered through failure, doubt, difficulty, negative comments from family and friends, and in spite of it all still continued to work. I could give $1,000 to a lazy person and they would spend it foolishly. I could give $1,000 to a hard worker and they will turn it into 10 times that.
