Is an older computer that does not heat food like it used to worth fixing?

Sorry, I meant to say my older microwave does not heat food like it used to. It does heat, the food is just not as hot.

But if you mean a MICROWAVE, I would say no, not as cheaply as you can get a new one now-a-days. You can get a nice one at a thrift store, sometimes even a department store for around 20 bucks or so.

I have heard of cell phones popping popcorn, but a computer heating food is news to me.

Ok, now that we have an edit, you answer would be no. Microwaves are fairly cheap these days. I paid less than $300 for the over the range with the exhaust fan and all the bells and whistles.

Well, any computer that heats food is worth fixing. So what, is it like, a toaster? With a keyboard?

Not worth it. The newer ones work better and rotate your food so you have a little entertainment while waiting

In most cases it's usually a lot cheaper to just go out and buy a new one, as trying to get parts for an older model can be difficult, and with the labor costs on top of that, it's just not worth it.

They are inexpensive, meant to be replaceable. You might have a hard time finding someone to fix it.
Cheaper to replace.
