I love this wolf picture! I donate to Defenders of Wildlife and have adopted an entire Wolf Family! It's True! My mom turned me onto this foundation. Check it out if you would like: www.Defenders.org and/or www.WildlifeAdoption.org. Again, Great Choice on the picture! Happy! Happy! :)

I was born and raised where there was ton's of snow, and now live where there is none. Hardly ever. I miss the snow, and everything about it.

I'm in Australia and have never felt snow. So I suppose I'm blissfully ignorant. (I've tried to build a snowman out of snow that had been sitting on the road for a few days after the snow stopped in NYC, but I didn't get anywhere very fast. It was still fun though)

...Australia is awesome by the way. We have no "below the border" jumpers, and don't really have to worried about getting shot because most of us can't own guns. Not as handy if you want to be famous however.
Report as
Yes, well, one has to have the right kind of snow for making things. (packing snow) Too bad. : (

I remember when I was little, we had so much snow (ohio) there would be snow drifts all the way above the doors. My Mother used to go out and scoop snow off of the tall drifts and make snow ice cream. It was awesome!!
Report as
Yes, the good old days of lots of snow. : |
Report as
yep
Report as
Holy, so you actually made free ice-cream... that's awesome! Best I've ever got was free extra rainwater for the garden :'( Naw, now I actually want to see it badly, and I'll have to save more money to add it to my itinerary, darn you @clicketyclack! I was blissfully ignorant :/ lol.
Report as
Hahahahaha and it was sooooooooooooooooo good Estelle! You just have to be careful where you scoop the snow from to make it......NEVER, under ANY circumstances use "yellow snow" lol
Report as
Lol, yeah I'd just use extra cordial stuff if I had no other choice. Or would I just go to the shops... decisions decisions..

No, hate it. Harsh winters with lots of snow is the worst thing about my beloved state.

I love the way it looks when it's fresh, I love watching it snow....I don't like shoveling it so much and some people lose their driving skills when it snows...it's crazy!

Helpful (2) Fun (3) Thanks for voting Comments (3)
Report as
Oh most certainly.... whenever we even get a "hint" of snow, everybody seems to forget how to drive. And, on top of that, the state isn't even prepared for it. At the first flake everything starts closing down.

Hi! I'm a catch 22 too! I don't like driving in it. I can ... but, I don't like it. I don't like standing out in it shoveling. I despise cold feet and hands, and I don't like snot dripping down my face out of my nose. On the flip side, I love the way it smells. Watching it glimmer in the morning after and your breath clean and crisp. The creatures' paw putting their initials throughout the dusted land. Answer in short: I don't like to be IN it and have to function responsibly, but I Do like to be cozy, warm and safe inside and having it around me. :)

No because we get between 200-300 inches a year in 5 months of winter
