My mother's been stirring up trouble...*Read Details*

This happened a few days ago, and now I'm screwed because of it. I was just going out to get mail for my aunt when my mother came from down the street. From a recent question of mine, you'll see that I've been abused (along with my little sister) and had to move to my aunt's house. My mom's been stalking me for a while now, threatening to do something if I don't come back. This time, though, she came with a knife. I had to defend myself, so I took the knife out of her hand before she could cut me and that move made her fall to the ground. It was foggy that day, and a neighbor saw only part of the scene (the part where I make her fall) and called the police. The officer that came was her friend and my mom started making up a fake story on how she was just trying to talk and how I made her fall and threatened to stab her. They're friends, so I didn't even have 5 seconds to explain myself without being shoved in the car, down to the station. Now I have to take 'Teens at Risk' counseling and stupid detention for a month when I come back from break. They say they let me down 'easy'! The police wouldn't even let me explain and my mother's always told everyone how bad of a kid I am, apparently. I really need some help on this situation! (BTW on that day, I was planning to call CPS about everything she'd done...)

Call DCFS (or CPS?), and explain the entire situation and that your mom came at you with a knife, and then lied about it. They should send a case worker out to talk to you and help you out.

I'm so sorry that happened. Remember when I said your mom is dangerous? Yeah, well she definitely is. You need to stay strong through this and start taking action of your life. Contact CPS until they assign you a case worker and keep working at it to bring the truth out. Good luck girl, you've got this!

Thanks! I will as soon as my aunt gets here, because I want to be sure she gets informed about this (she's asked to be informed of anything that happens!).

my heart goes out you document everything ! get a signed piece of paper from your aunt stating why you were there in the first place and see about having her made legal guardian and for heaven sake do not sacrifice your sister save her too if you can and learn the laws about child abuse but don't let them separate the two of you

OMGOSH! You poor thing! I gonna help as much as I can! (only if you want it)

Since most of those authorities are her friends, I would suggest that your best shot would be to catch her on camera. Not just once, a couple times! If you have a camera, start filming her without her knowing it, hide it and do what you do and let her guilt come allong. And this would cut the cake, if you got something she was doing wrong, and you filmed her falsy telling an authority, that would settle it. Once you got enough evidence, take it and show it to the police *not her friend police* walk to another station completly new to you.

Also, if things go wrong with the film evidence, make a copy of the videos just in case on a sky drive. Hope this helps dude, I wish the best of luck to you.
Night.
