Due to injury, damage, or a gradual failure of our body.... There is no "why" anymore than there is a "why" to our being born.

If our bodies didn't have some kind of failures some time of our lives, we'd be immortal.

With every new generation of cells that our body produces, the telomeres that prevent degeneration get shorter and shorter. Eventually, our cells can no longer reproduce as fast as they die, and our organs degenerate to the point where they can no longer function and we die.

To make room for the newly born. It's a big life cycle.

Because that's the circle of life. Can you imagine how crowded this world would be in no one died? We're already over populated! :o

Because most of our organs that are are important fail.

Life is precious precisely because it IS transitory. We wouldn't appreciate it nearly so much if it were otherwise. For a technical answer, see Second Law of Thermodynamics.:)

Becouse EVERYTHING has a begining and an end..even the sun is gonna die someday nothing lasts forever my friend, our body moves trough some inner energy (think about a radio)witouth electric energy that makes it work..it would be just a piece of plastic..our body is the same..just a recepient of energy...even the strongest energy fades off within time

If no one died, by now the earth would be like 1 giant behive, and we would be crawling all over each other, that's providing we hadn't starved to death. even now the population is multiplying so fast, barring catastrophic global event, or some serious population control, over population is certain , but not in your lifetime

there are many people on earth, so as a result we would all be lost or confused about where we are. Even though some people keep producing babies, they even die later on. It's a life cycle that all living things have, just like cacti, flowers, humans, but don't just think that a rock would just do the same thing, because a rock is not alive.

Romans 5:12 says "That is why, just as through one man [Adam] sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned." However, Revelation 21:4 promises that one day in the near future God will bring an end to death.

Once a person is past reproduction age, evolution had less reason to select for people to have healthy, beneficial genes in post-reproduction life. Those genes formed randomly, with little pressure to not age us to death. That is the reason we died for so long. Now days we have a great shot at not dying once the movement for indefinite life extension is successful in completing its 5 goals of 1 year each. Those goals are designed to help bring world awareness to what is currently 11 key organizations listed there. This is life or death and it needs to reach the world stage soon. There are not many people who will enjoy dying a year before indefinite life extension medicine will probably get here. Once the world is informed, the largest % of the world that would support this, can. We can't continue on with research at the current rate if we want the best shot at indefinite life extension that we can get. One thousand or so researcher working on aging and related things doesn't cut it. We need as many people as would support this to support it because the goal of indefinite life extension gets here in relative proportion to the collective speed at which the world goes to get there.

No one is here forever. Everybody has to go and leave this universe. There is a creature named god...I think he has made this rule. And also when anything is coming in this world has to go one or the other day. So we die. That's it.
