Is mock devonshire cream safe to eat?
I am making a mock devonshire cream that instructs:
Whisk 2 tbls powdered sugar, 1 cup light cream, and 3/4 cup sour cream together. Then pour into glass jar, cover in plastic wrap, and let sit on counter for 4 - 5 hours. Is this safe? Wouldn't the dairy be spoiled? I have tasted store bought mock cream before but Idont really know if this reciipe is safe to eat?!
