How do you get your horse around the barrel at the right time in the right place? (BARREL RACING HELP)
I have only been barrel racing for about 4 years now and I don't know when to turn my horse at the right time in the right place. I am working on leg and weight pressure. I can't seem to tell when is the perfect place to turn him. He knows that he has to turn but we are both struggling to know what specific place. I have been told to not get too keep a safe distance between the barrel and the horse. I feel like I am at the perfect place to turn but most of the time I end up hitting the barrel or hitting my shins. Any advice???
