I can't be the only person like this.

In every picture, or poster I am of anyone. I always feel like there's a tiny camera put into the persons eyes and there watching me. I always feel them staring at me..it doesn't scare me anymore, but it used to..but it's still weird. is anyone else like this?

Dolls are creepy, I don't know who in their right mind would advertise them. I always picture them walking outside my bedroom when I'm sleeping, a wide grin etched over their faces as they whisper.

"It's not time. Not yet ... soon. But not yet. Not now."

it is not so weird, and this kind of feeling just has to happen when our past and current living environments are not good for us.

i did when i was like 5 any picture i saw i thought the people were watching me but its only because, a picture is from the camera's point of view, abd from the camera's point of view theperson was looking right into your eyes, so thats also what the picture looks like.

It's paranoia. You get used to it.

he/she can never get used to that, he/she told "it doesn't scare me anymore", but he/she must still feel uncomfortable and wants to get rid of it.

You aren't the only one who feels that way but it's not normal.

you are right that he/she is not the only one, yet I think it should be normal under her/his real circumstances and experiences.

AnnieZue: well pilgrim, normal for him ain't necessarily normal. I used to work in a mental hospital (until I started having dreams that they took my keys away and wouldn't let me go home) what he is talking about is a form of paranoia. He seems to have it under control though because he doesn't think that his pictures are alive and really staring at him.

I was in different situation, but I also felt that everyone could know what I have done or what I have said at once, but know this kind of feeling has disappear, and I even feel I am not able to raise enough attentions from people even I keep talking around, which has to be the real situation in our society, we are not able to attract a lot of attention even we have tried very hard.

I think this kind of symptom is related to our way of growing up. Think carefully, and we have to agree that we used to be forced to obey something not good in our society, maybe most of the young children are forced to learn text books which they could like, and our family think their children should be given the right to get education, and their children should thank them for all these education. When the children are not willing to learn or when they could not get good scores, or when their family's pressure is very high in our society, the children could be judged by family and school and the people arround as "not able" or "not smart" or "lazy".

I can't write more words here, so please read the comments area if you would like.

All these judgement could hurt the children, and when they are afraid of getting hurt again very much, they could start to feel that "what they have done might have been noticed by others".

If a young person have this kind of feeling for many years, and when he/she might be defeated many many times in his/her social life, or when he/she might have some health problems, he/she could start to have this kind of feeling that he/she was watched by others everywhere through some special way. Like what you said that everyone watch you through a tiny camera in their eyes.

I think what I said above is the real course that a person started to feel watched everywhere all the time.

I don't mean that education is not right, we should get education, but I don't think we need to learn so many theories before we go to work, I think everybody know that it is hard for anyone to accept any theory before they really have that kind of social practise. A lot of time before we go to work get wasted in this way, and we have the most reliable childhood meanwhile.

I just think maybe we only need to learn to learn reading and writing, and we are going to search knowledge in our society naturally. Once some theories or technologies are very efficient in our daily work, everybody would be very glad to share their findings and everybody would be very glad to learn. But our reality is that we have learnt a lot of theories and technologies, but even these theories and technologies can be proved to be efficient in our work, we still tell we need to learn them and they are the best things we should learn.

This is my personal opinion for your reference.

A mistake in my comment above, I said "we have the most reliable childhood meanwhile", but I should use " the most miserable childhood..."

What I said above is about education, but this is only a case, there are a lot ways that children could be judged as "bad", "not smart", "not able", and so on. But education could be an import reason to be judged this way for most chldren.

This may be an issue of self image for you. When you look at these eyes, try to see the whole person, their flaws and the fact that they have human faults just like your own. What would this person think if they knew your deepest, darkest secret? If they don't know you, they wouldn't care, nor should you. The only eyes that would care are the ones that love you. No one's eyes but your own can judge you. Know that you are a good person and you are loved. We often judge ourselves too harshly. I know that this is a long answer to a simple question, but the deeper issue is important.
