I really like & thinking of buying a 3 to 4 year old Honda Pilot. The problem is, I'm 6'1" and the drivers seat doesn't go back far enough.

How difficult and expensive would it be to get the seat rails fixed further back?

It can be realllyy cheap if you are at all handy with a drill. Just remove the seats, unfasten the rails from the floor, and drill new holes for the screws. If you are concerned about the old holes, just putty them up, or solder some soldering wire into place to block the hole (like welding, except without the need for a mic/tic welder) You can get soldering irons from most hardware stores for like $20-$30 bucks, and cheap doesn't matter, they work just as good.

This is what I was thinking. Just wasn't sure if moving the rails further back would interfere with anything like the power seat motor or other equipment. Thanks for the reply.

It shouldn't, if you are careful with the wires, and they reach far enough back. Have fun.

It would not be very difficult and expensive to get the seat rails fixed further back. However, in order to be sure you need to contact a technician or a repair man so as to inquire more on the cost required and time taken for the rails to be fixed.
