Heaps of ways. If you do a combinaton of internal treatments and external treatments, you will get the best results. Externally, you can moisturize your hair with oils and hair masks. Oils: olive, coconut, flaxseed, avocado, argan. Olive is the cheapest thing and works just as good as anything else really, and its cheap. Don't heat it though, just shampoo your hair with warm water, pat your hair a little dry so its not dripping wet, and rub the oil liberally through your hair, including your scalp. Putting it in your hair this way will help your hair absorb the oil better, because for some reason it just does. Leave the oil in for as long as you want, the longer the better. Sometimes I leave it in for 2 or 3 days if I don't have to go anywhere, I just tie my hair in a bun on top of my head, and make sure to change my pillow cases. When you rinse it out, use a tiny bit of shampoo to help get the bulk off, but not as much shampoo as you would normally use when doing a regular shampoo.
I don't know about food products to put on your hair, but trimming it regularly helps it grow faster. Also, vitamins help. Prenatals are great for hair, skin, and nails... And they are perfectly fine to take even when not pregnant.
Nothing you apply to your hair will have that effect. Any product which says it will do this is out-and-out lying. Human hair grows at the rate of about 1/2 inch a month. You can affect how shiny and glossy your hair is by eating a healthy diet, and even that will take time to reveal itself.
I have very very long hair but there is really no way to make your hair grow faster. typically everyones hair grows around the same each month. a quarter inch give or take each month. there are ways to strengthen hair against breakage however. some products may seem as if they are making your hair grow longer faster, but infact they are protecting your hair from breakage, nourishing the scalp, etc. coffee, roemary tea,and beer..yes, beer that contains hops is great for scalp stimulation
