Did Jesus die so peoples pets can go to heaven ?

Jesus said in Matthew 5:5 the meek will inherit the Earth , not heaven ,so will the pets go to heaven & the owners stay on Earth ?

I read a lot about people who have had near death experiences... That is, they have died and been revived after a couple of minutes. They tell about what they saw while they were "dead".

So you do believe in heaven? And since you read a lot you know what do we need in order to go to heaven?
I would like to know. Please help me with your knowledge

My religion teaches that you must be baptized, and not be in a state of mortal sin when you die... In my heart, I feel that if you have live a good life, help others, and maintain integrity, then God will welcome you into His kingdom!

Some good books are"Life After Life", "90 Minutes in Heaven", "Embraced By the Light", "Dinner With a Perfect Stranger", and "Joshua"...(there are a series of these, but "Joshua" is the best).

I believe pets will always have a good experience, because so many are so innocent and pure of intentions- unless us humans bug them!

If they have a soul and received Jesus as their savior then yes they are in heaven :)
it does not matter how pretty words you used or how good you can express your opinion the truth is in the word of God

Interesting interpretation of that verse, but I don't think that's what it means. It was Will Rogers, I think, who said that if dogs weren't allowed in heaven then he wasn't interested in being there either.
I don't think there's anything in scripture that indicates that our pets will be with us in heaven. That can seem a little sad, considering how much they add to our lives. But they don't have souls, so there's no spiritual component to their existence.

When the Bible was written, animals weren't as revered as they are in our society. But they MUST be important, or else why did God have Noah save them in the ark???
Report as
I'm not saying they're unimportant. They're part of God's creation and are important for maintaining the ecosystem. But they weren't created in God's image; only humans can claim that.

We dont know for sure of course but animals dint have souls as humans do. Only humans were made in His spuritual image. Animals are basically accessories or possessions and, sad as it is, probably do not hi anywhere but back to earth. But who knows.

Animals do not have immortal souls. They are below humans and cannot go to heaven.

They arent "below" us. The are part of God's almighty creation and we are called to take care of them. But you are right in that they dont have souls and cant go to heaven or hell

God created man above all. Therefore we are above them. I don't mean we should treat them like trash, but a human life is more important than a fish's.

The Bible doesn't say humans or animals have immortal souls. Genesis 2:7 says that Adam "became a living soul" and many times speaks of both human and animals souls dying. For instance, Ezekiel 18:4 says "the soul that is sinning (and we all sin) it itself will die." But the Bible does make it plain that Jesus gave up his human life to save mankind, it never mention animals. Just as he was resurrected from death by his Father, Almighty God, he said there would be a resurrection of the dead, here on earth with the hope of everlasting life.
