Yea but there are a lot of factors that could be the reason for it. As a EMT I would ask if she has chronic hypertension? Does she feel week or dizzy? If so then yes, u must go to doctor to get seen if this is not the norm for her. If not checked right away it could become far worse such as a stroke. But nonetheless there are many questions as to why she may possibly be "spiking" that high. Hope she is ok. Best of luck to you! Happy New Years!
The rule for strokes is FAST: face (one side droops or is weak), arm (one weaker than other, doesn't raise as high, etc), speech (slurring or forgetting words) & time (time saved is brain saved). Good luck, I hope this isn't the case!
My aunt is a nurse and last weekend she volunteered to check people's blood pressure at church. I went with her a learned that normal or the best blood pressure is 120/80 anything around those two numbers is fine... There was a chart... Probably a problem
