Well, there is something that my mom makes for me when I get sick like this, and it helps a lot. It's like a ginger extract. Buy a ginger root, wash and peel it. Grate it finely on a board and then press it out in a sieve to get as much juice out of it as you can. When you have a good amount, add in a nice amount of lemon/lime juice and stir. Then add honey until it's sweet enough for you. You can also add just a tiny bit of cayenne pepper if you want, but I don't really like it, so I don't. Take one teaspoon twice a day. Be ready to handle the fire in your throat! :) It makes you feel good afterwards, though. Feel better!
