I am a strong believer in God.
I dont beileve in God. I beileve in the Gods and Goddesses but not God God up there ^^
God is my Lord. He sent his son, Jesus, to die for our sins!!!! We are so blessed to have such a God.
I believe in an omnipotent deity. Why else did the Big Bang occur? Why is there life on this insignificant blue-green planet in an insignicant orbit around an insignificant star in the murky backwaters of the western spiral arm of the Milky Way Galaxy?
Just because you don't understand how something works does not make the answer magic.
Not any of the man made ones, but as an atheist/agnostic one cannot say yes or no without the evidence needed to formulate a conclusion. The important thing is just to live your life with HER, Honor, Empathy, Respect for all things.
Yes! Because it's true. Regardless whether you believe or not. Like Phlorence said not small g god but the one and only true God He is God and His name is Jesus. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
No, I am a cross between a humanist and an anamist. I believe in the big bang, the string theory, and evolution, but I also believe that everything living and non-living has an energy that never dies. It is recycled or reincarnated.
No. However, I concede the possibility of a creator, just not the Judeo-Christian one or any of the man-made ones, for that matter.
Not a god that has gender or shape and gets tired after 6 days and needs to rest. Not the god thy makes so much money but pays no taxes and its humble servants are covered in gold. Not the god who loves you but burns you for eternity if you don't love him. And definitely not a god that says there's only one door to eternal happiness.
Nope- no good evidence any gods exist.
If you claim you have evidence you'll have to actually provide some and not just say it's there.
Nothing about our world shows any evidence of needing supernatural help to get here, never mind your specific god.
Like I said- no evidence, just logical fallacies.
Again- the fact that you don't know how the world works is not evidence for the existence of a god, certainly not a specific god.
You claimed there was evidence. I'm still waiting.
You have no education or training in the sciences- I'm fairly sure we know more about the subject than you do dear.
You dismissing evidence because you already decided your god must exist and be responsible is both ignorant and closed minded. Your resorting to cursing shows you have no argument either.
You have claimed good evidence exists, but provided none that your god or any other exists.
It's quite typical of Christians to resort to this sort of insult and refusal to a Italy back up their claims when challenged.
Look- he was the one with the lack of respect for others' beliefs.
I said why I don't believe in gods. He claimed there was in fact evidence, then failed to provide any. I could care less what you believe, but if you make claims you need to be able to back them up. That's how the world works.
And considering your tone, you're the one filled with disrespect here.
In fact, you two were the ones who resorted to insults and crude language. You're being a hypocrite here.
There is no evidence. You keep claiming it yet can't back yourself up one bit. Run along. I don't have time to waste on people who make baseless claims they can't support.
You can't just make claims you can't back up, expect people to believe those claims, then say someone pointing out the flaws in your claims is picking on you in the real world.
They kind of remind me of some of my students. The ones that don't study, don't pay attention in lecture, fail all their exams, then claim I'm mean because I won't let them retake the exams or get extra credit.
Aside from the fact I do not believe in god, this is the third time this week this question had been asked. Scroll back a few days and look at their poll on the topic.
Belief in God of some kind is the common belief of 90 percent of the population. However, active worship of God is much less, with a third of the population of the United States involved in regular observance. If you include those who occasionally observe and those who believe but do not attend, it's approximately 50 percent of America.
