How can I remain friends with someone who is 5 years older than me? I'm so scared to lose her!

she started out as my high school tutor but for reason reason my parents decided not to hire her this year. we've gotten really close and I love her very much but lately I feel like I don't see enough of her anymore. what can I do to preserve such a precious friendship? (I'm a girl too).

A five year age difference can be huge in some people and not so much in others. At the high school level is can be quite a bit. She is out of school and has other friends and may be do things that you can't such as go to clubs. This doesn't mean you can be friends it just means you have different interests and won't be spending all your time together.

The difference in age shouldn't matter. I have friends that are ten and twenty years my senior. Try to keep in contact with her. Call or text each other. Try to plan a day or night to hang out with each other :-).

Well chances are that she is going to mature faster than you. So when she is matured, you will be young and silly. So just try, when you around her, be a little bit more grown up than you usually would be around your other friends that are ur age.
