Not really. Can he get away with it? Probably. Was this extra charge stated up-front when you checked in? I would protest this one with the manager, good luck.

charge was not stated before hand and if i had know i would have cleaned but it couldnt have been more than 30 minutes to clean up with the right supplies that i didnt have
Report as
it wasnt charge to a card because i dont have one but he wants the money by tomorrow in cash otherwise they say there going to get the cops involved but its a civil matter i would think

It is. But he wants his money, hence the threats. Did you save your check-in information? Your bill? If the charge wasn't stated up front, you can probably finagle something, good luck

Did they not do their daily room service? If not then I wouldn't pay. If so. You're a pig and should pay it

2 people in a 150 sq/ft space with a 8 month child and garbage isnt supposed to pile up and stuff get dirty? the price of the cleaning is way over the "charge" that he wants me to pay you cant tell me that with the correct cleaning supplies ie bleach and garbage bags, a person could do it in 30 minutes i could pay for the GRA's time but for $256 a week even a couple hours of cleaning shouldnt be a big deal one would think
Report as
I'm thinking this was then a real mess over and above normal cleaning.

Nope. Cleaning the room is included in the price you paid to rent the room.
