Fluoride is highly toxic. In fact, before fluoride was deemed a "cavity fighter," it was used as insecticide and rat poison. When it comes to dental hygiene, fluoride actually does more harm than good.
No. It's actually good for some things like keeping your teeth nice and clean and white. It's not to say to just go and start eating it because THAT would be bad.
No, it is actually good for your teeth
Long exposure to fluoride (even at very low levels) has been shown to cause damage in the brain, weaken bones, and cause "crippling bone disease." It really should not be in our water supply AT ALL. Read more here: http://www.fluoridation.com/fluorideindrinkingwater.htm
I read that it is.

VERY good. (Fun fact: People who were against the start of putting flouride in the public water in 1945 were called antiflouridationists.)
They actually gave rats doses of fluoride for many years and the third generation of those rats were born steral.
To eat, yes.
