I think you will be fine, but if it hurts really bad and you can't walk on it you should go to the doctor just in case to see if its not broken

Not unless you have a lot of pain or can't walk on it. Not much a Dr can do with a bruised foot except give u pain med. Take aspirin and give it a day or two.

If you can press on the foot and not scream with pain, you are O.K. Check with your Pharmacy or your nearest Homeopath and get some Arnica Cream to rub on your bruise - that will take away the pain and speed up the dispersal of the bruising. Painkillers aren't going to help much at all. Ice, rest and elevation of the injury will ease the discomfort. Add "not slipping in the shower" to your list of New Year's Resolutions....

Use the Arnica cream and you will be much better. If you can get Arnica 30C drops or tablets from your local Homeopath, take those for a few days. The Arnica will move your bruise in two or three days! Of COURSE it hurts if you apply stress to it - the damage is not healing. Arnica heals bruises - reliably, infallibly, safely and effectively. Your comments, however, confirm you didn't break anything. Use the Arnica and a month later if there is pain but no bruising, have a combination of Homeopathic Ruta grav. and Hypericum perf. both as 30C for periosteal trauma. Helpful?
