You can deal with depression by thinking of all the good things that happened in your life. maybe listen to your own thought and ask why am i depressed. But just think about what is missing (maybe a family member or close friend) and how it affects your life in a good and bad way. Or just talk to people you love <3
It's really hard....meds don't seem to work on mild chronic depression. Talk therapy is good, healthy eatting habits, exercising & doing things you love, hobbies, projects. It's still a huge challenge at 44, I wish you luck & if u need to, if your depression is severe please see your family doctor & they will recommend a good phycologist to see. Happy New Year!
