I need help with iPod touch ASAP

So I turned off My iPod (it had about 75% battery) and I come back two minutes later to turn it on..and it's been on the screen where it shows the apple logo when you turn it on and it's been like this for twelve minutes so far...and I've tried restarting it and plugging it up to ITunes and nothing has worked.

It happened to me like 3 times. If you didn't update it, that means the system thing had like restarted. You'll just have to start over again. You can get all your stuff back if you had a apple account or iCloud backup. If you don't know how to restart it, call the apple store.

Happened to me before. Keep pressing all of the buttons randomly and holding the down the on/off button a few times, then plug it back into iTunes. It should eventually work. (By all of the buttons I mean the volume, home, and lock)

Did you update it? Cuz if its updating that could be it. But other than that I would just wait a day, then if its still like that take it to the store.

That happened to me too but exactly when I used iTunes it said I had to switch my iPod 4th g to an iOS 5 so yep I did and I'm still using it
