Do you have a New Year resolution?

I don't because I don't think I'll stick to it:)

I don't start my New Year's Resolutions until February... I figure I'll have a better chance of making it through a month with only 28 days than one with 31. It may be a little mind game, but so far, it has worked for me!

No, not since my last email back to him after he told me about the....,....
I guess he didn't like what I said, and I could have cared less at that point anyway. I have so often thought about you and what you went through emotionally. I still don't know if I did the right thing by telling you. I guess it's really a double edged sword either way. But, I have thought about you many times. I hope you are doing better now. You really do deserve a while lot better than what you almost got. So, no there had been no contact since my last email to Michael which I forwarded to you as well.

No, you absolutely did the right thing. He had me so convinced that I had done something wrong, when my only "sin" was in caring. Thank you for being a true, good friend through my little insanity. Never again... this heart is closed for good. There is a guy who is trying his darnedest (two, actually), but I simply can't set myself up for that again.

I do remember that he was having an auction and selling his farm. I don't know if you knew that or if he went through with it. That's all I can recall. I only answered a couple of his emails, so there wasn't alot of communication between us.

I do wish the best for him... even as much as he hurt me. He's not right, mentally, from so many years of alcohol abuse, but Ashley and Caroline were already mine in my heart and they deserve a real father.

I miss talking to his father, too. I can only imagine what he told Jimmy about... doggone tears anyway. I think I mourn for his family more than for him. I guess I'm wacko.

That was the main reason why I decided to tell you. I had a strong feeling that you may have thought it was something you had done wrong. I didn't want you to ever doubt yourself. I went through something somewhat similar. But it helps to know that the problem is not with you, but with them (him). Do not close yourself off. That just winds up hurting you all over again. Just be a little wiser, as we all learn to be. Go a little slower. But please do not let someone else lose out on the pleasure of getting to know you, and visa versa. All in good time though, when you feel ready once again. If you shut down, then nobody is happy. I know you will be ready again. Heck, we women are strong. How does that saying go......,,
"Don't cut off your nose to spite your face." I just love that quote. I use it on myself regularly. Lol
