Why is my iPhone's 3G not working?

Like the icon isn't even showing and everything is on.

Maybe you used all of your 3G or sometimes if its a circle that's normal it happens on mines

Where you currently are might not have a 3G service tower near by.

Try resetting network settings from Settings, General, Reset and on to Reset Network Settings. You can also try restoring it in iTunes using a backup or restoring it in iTunes as new. If that doesn't work, you can just take the phone to an Apple store for proper diagnosis and repair.
