Can I wear a full body ski suit for style and warmth in the winter it's cold here in NYC but people say only if you live in the mountains?

I have a north face ski suit and I don't ski I just love it in the winter but ppl say it's too much and it's not that cold but I just want to be warm and not freeze my butt or legs and it's super cute and thin unlike snow pants

Wear what you want to keep YOUR body warm, but don't over heat yourself because you can cause hypothermia very easily if you start sweating too much.

You don't get hypothermia from overheating. Only if you are freezing. Do you mean heat stroke or something?

No I meant if you sweat too much and it's freezing out, your body CAN go into hypothermia,. Heat stroke is totally different. In case you need a reference I can try to Google it for you, or you can do it.
