I want to lose weight and work out.. i need to know a good diet and good exercises i can do at home :/ help?

I'm 14 and I've lost 5 pounds in a healthy way since I've started eating healthier. I basically cut out fast food, pop and sugary drinks, and chips an candy (except for a few treats I give myself now and then). I'm going to start going to a gym too. You can also get an app for your phone that I use. It tracks calorie, fat, sugar etc intake and calculates how many calories exercise burns. I don't know specific exercises or meals to stick to though. Just make sure you lose weight in a healthy way. Good luck!(:

set a goal for yourself and portion your meals from now on and find a workout partner to get more motivated

go to walmart or target and get a Dvd you can do at home. the Firm series is good and they aren't expensive. also to start get a set of 5 lb weights also cheap. your still young and growing so I wouldn't cut too much food. avoid junk and sugar

Get rid of fatty foods and sugary drinks. Since you are 14, you can go to the gym with an adult, and you can also join a sport to have fun while exercising. Work out for at least an hour a day. Yoga and/or pilates is not a bad thing to do either. But if you want to lose weight faster, mainly do cardio. Also, instead of eating when bored, chew on gum!

DO NOT DIET!!! I've lost about 70 pounds over a 14 month period. Easy, peasy, not diet, not magic!! Just healthy.

add special k cereal with strawberries(if u like)and 2% or skim milk to ur day. breakfast or lunch. or both. your normal dinner
more meat, vegetsble than anything else. most important don't eat after 5 or 6pm. exercise where u sit. at home you any movement is better than none. get a big rubberband (blue ones for rehabilitation) tie to furniture. strengthen any part u want. legs, arms ankles. different move. after accident for my neck I tied a bandana around my head and attached it. it works be creative

do short, intense cardio workouts, they will annihilate the uneccessary fat from your body in a matter of months

you're 14, join a team at school. or purchase a workout video that you think you'll stick with, like a dance workout.

diet, that's a very bad four letter word. you don't diet. you use common sense and portion control to create a lifestyle of healthy eating.
drink plenty of water.

for diet it's good to stay away from carbs. everyone says to watch calories which you should but carbs are a big concern too. eat heathy (chicken- 0 carbs, salad, protein bars) and eat often about every 2-3 hours so your body isn't craving food which will make you gain. I hope this helps this helped me lose weight :)
