When multiplying integers, when there is an even/odd number of factors, is the product positive or negative?
Tips, cuz I always get it mixed up.
Positive x positive =positive. Negative x negative=positive. Positive x negative = negative. Negative x positive = negative.
if the two signs are the same, the result is positive, and if the two signs are different, the result is negative.
Multiplying IntegersAll positive, even # of factors ==> + odd. ==> +All negative, even # of factors ==> +All negative, odd ==> -
