When multiplying integers, when there is an even/odd number of factors, is the product positive or negative?

Tips, cuz I always get it mixed up.

Positive x positive =positive. Negative x negative=positive. Positive x negative = negative. Negative x positive = negative.

if the two signs are the same, the result is positive, and if the two signs are different, the result is negative.

All positive, even # of factors ==> +
odd. ==> +
All negative, even # of factors ==> +
All negative, odd ==> -

True. It is better to follow the rules you gave.
But I remember studying this and my answer is the right answer to
the question.
But your rules are right and easier to remember.
