Is it possible to lose your asthma after the age of 21

I am 21 years old and i am not in that great of shape. i wanna get into the the army but i have asthma so i was wondering if i got in shape was it possible to lose my asthma at my age

Being in shape will not cure your asthma. But it is possible for some, to grow out of their ashtma.

My five year old has asthma and his doctor tol me that while you will never outgrow asthma, the severity and frequency of attacks and your sensitivity to triggers may decrease to the point of being unnoticeable.

Oh, and working out will also not make asthma "go away", but it will definitely improve the overall health and capacity of your lungs, so as to make the attacks less severe

It is possible to "outgrow" asthma, like heart problems. However, getting into shape will probably not help - it might actually make it worse.

Yes. I lost mine completely after I was 28. Mine was very severe.
After 28 years old, it's like I never had it.
