Did Jesus pay taxes

Report as

Yes he did. Peter asked him where to get the money to pay the taxes and Jesus told him where to catch a fish that had a gold coin stuck in its mouth.

Yes. He said you should pay the ceaser what is his, and pay God what is his. Jesus was one of the greatest socialists of all time, so you're not going to find Republican style anti-government anti-welfare positions held by him.

Give to the poor? It would be easier for a camel to walk in the eye of a needle than for a rich man to go to heaven?
Report as
Greg, are you wondering what that means?
Report as
It's pretty straightforward.

Yes he paid his taxes like anyone else. In fact he said "render unto Cesar that which is Cesar's and unto God that which is God's".

I'm doubting an unemployed itinerant carpenter had any money to pay taxes, but the bible states that he told everyone else to pay them.

He didn't start his ministry until age 30. Before that, he was a carpentor. So, obviously, he earned a living.
