When you interview with me, these are the things I look for. 1. Be on time. 2. Make sure you can do everything listed on your resume. 3. Dress appropriately, cover tattoos, take out nose rings, lip rings, eye brow piercing. Always keep fingernails clean. 4. Always keep eye contact, be pleasant but don't over sell yourself, the resume you've given me tells me your qualifications. 5. Be very straight forward about the hours you are available to work. 6. Listen to the things I'm telling you I expect from you, this is what the employer is looking for, and they will not settle for less. 7. Always tell the truth on your application, this shows your character. Some employers are willing to over look the past if you are honest about them.
if the person interviewing you shakes your hand, make sure your handshake is firm, but not bone crushing, firm shows confidence, bone crushing shows overcompensation for something, and a weak grip shows a weak character, you can tell alot about a person from a handshake, dress nicely, slacks, a button down, and a tie are appropriate, maintain eye contact with the person who is interviewing you, when asked a question, speak with confidence. maintain a jovial look, but not a too happy or too sad look, just somewhere in the middle, if you tell me what type of job you are being interviewed for, then i may be able to help you a bit more, but aside from that, these tips should put you in good shape

Be on time!!!! Wear clean, semi-dress clothing, clean shaven with a hint of aftershave. Do not display: tattoos, piercings, baggy pants, underwear and don't chew gum. Sit up straight, look 'em in the eyes, give honest answers, provide them with a resumé, have references ready (if asked).
You only get one chance to make a good first impression.
Be at the interview about 15-10 minutes early, Dress in Good Clothes (tux, dress shirt), be nice to everyone and dont use curse words, sometimes they will act a scenario like someone dropping papers to see if you'll help them or the managers will try to talk to you like they've been best buds with you but their really just checking if you'll change your character so always stay professional and positive, look them straight in the eye, if you sit make sure your back is straight legs are closed and hands crossed, give a firm handshake and answer their questions clearly and make sure to smile (dont over sell your smile though you dont want to look like a robot smiling through all their questions) and listen and answer their questions carefully, I would also advise you to practice this before the interview in front of a mirror, do a little research about the company your gonna work for and try to google some job interview questions so they dont catch you off gaurd, good luck and best wishes for your new year and your job hunt
Make sure to wear a tux and a tie to show yourself as a well dressed person with confidence and brings a business case with your work papers to look like a business man also have confidence and don't show any shyness also if he/she tries shaking your hand shake it not very hard and firmly so they will know your a professional plus if they insult you in any way try to stay calm and don't say any bad words to them so they will know you are not very harsh and don't try to talk back in a bad attitude because they will not like that. Good Luck!!!
