Can i feed my reptile a mouse from the pet store

Report as

What kind of reptile... I have snakes and lizards so im pretty good with this.. if it is a snake then depending on the size of the snake you will have to pick the appropriate size mouse they should sell (Pinkies) (Hoppers) And (adult mice). they also sell frozen mice at your pet store.. if its a lizard i wouldnt recommend it because they have a lot of fat in them but its ok to feed like one time a month appropriate size mouse also..

Snake: Yes. Measure him and ask at the pet store to be sure. Lizard: Does it have teeth? <All depends on this

Usually a snake can eat a pretty good sized mouse. For a lizard, they can also eat mice, just check to make sure it can eat it.
