Hi. Wow! I am 3x older than 13 and I haven't even seen all those creepy movies! However, back to your question, Pulp Fiction is much deeper than Friday the 13 and Scarface. To understand the whole inner world and the psyche behind it, is a bit much for a 13 year old. 13 is a hard enough age to begin with. The topics and problems promoted by Pulp Fiction are even too tough for people who have been around a lot longer. I wouldn't suggest it. Let them be a kid. 13 can be fun and scary all at the same time. Take Care.

Thanks frovel100. Man, the godfather too?! Even I get woozey when I think of it! Great book and incredible movie, yes.... but at 13, I don't think I would understand the whole allegiance and demonstrative power of the mob. I still don't! Especially "back in the day," with Chicago and "the Don," and New York ... WoW, very dark. I would not understand why my favorite horse's head was at the foot of my bed! Either this kid is going to grow up and be the best horror flick writer of all time or he is going to be one confused adult. Stephen King look out! :) Have a great Day! :)

Out of concern for your neighbors, does he stay out late at night and collect old Chevy Cars or does he hang around cemetaries that have a lot of dogs and cats buried in them? I'm scared for YOU! :0 :0! No, the shining is one of the "mind games" horror flicks. Jack Nickolas does a great job. He might get it ... but do you think it's healthy (mentally) he should?

he is a very mature kid actually and no he does none of those things. he is very smart and knows right from wrong.

Mature or not, my dear, try to turn him on to the Discovery Channel, or the Science Channel. Reality is scary enough sometimes. I was just playin' about your safety! :) I find people who get aroused by reading or watching peope/things hurting others kind of backasswards. Being a kid is just as important as being an adult. Some people stay kids all their lives and don't get used to the responsiblity part. And some do the opposite. But, I really think he should be concentrating on the other sex, going to movies rated PG-13 and decide what sport he may like to play. It's all good, don't get me wrong. I don't think he's demented, I do think he might want to remember society doesn't work out of hollywoood, ca or off a page from a book. What do you think?

If the 13 year old has already seen those other movies, then yes that's fine.

Hi. I know!!! What a list of movies for a 13 year old! Creepy kind of if you ask me. It was helpful to me though, because, over course, I agree :)
