I think you should do what you think is best. If it was me I will married the man that I love. It will be her lost not yours.

Yeh, I agree with everyone else. You really should not get involved. Leave it between your future husband and his mom. Nothing good can come from you getting involved, and worse you may find yourself in between them, which is not an enviable place to be. The last thing you want to do is get caught in a family fight between blood relatives.

Also, don't stress about it. As shylee said, it will be her loss, not yours.

run your own life . It's a decision she'll later regret.
hope ur BF isn't attached to mommy's apron strings.
due to circumstances my mother is pretty much out of our lives. My father has grand babies he's never met.
their loss. we're happy.

What ever you do, do.not.put.yourself.in.the.middle. You can ignore her or try to talk it out with her but show your love and support to your fiance. Invite her to the wedding, then it's on her whether she comes or not. Her approval of who her son marries is really between them not you. He will make his decision and that will be that. Good Luck.

Call her up and tell her you want to visit. When you get there, tell her you need her help with the wedding. Tell her you can't do it without her, because you feel so overwhelmed and will she help you. Talk about how you are excited to get a mother-in-law and how you can go shopping together and she will love it when you have her grand kids. Try to make her feel as included in your wedding plans as possible. She may be feeling like she is losing her son, but let her know you will be there for her if she needs anything and she is gaining a daughter. Reassure her, that her son will still visit her often. Good luck.
