Who hates how scientist come up with stupid hypothises like "the wold is going to end"

i really hate tht it just gets on my nerves cuz their looking like fools when they say stuff willl happen and they just dont

First of all scientists are not the people who are making these predictions, not hypothesis. The people who are making these predictions are stoners. However, there is actual scientific proof that around five billion years the sun will die causing a supernova that will swallow up the earth.

I hope the life expectancy stops going up

Stoners? We have better things to do than say that the world will end
Report as
We will be long gone by then

a hypothises is the same as a prediction
Report as
nope actually they aren't. a hypothesis is an educated geuss, a prediction is a wild geuss.
Report as
their both guesses but they mean different things

The sun won't supernova, it'll expand and then collapse, making a dwarf star.
Report as
well it will expand but it wont become a dwarf star, heres a qoute from nasa,

"After a low mass star like the Sun exhausts the supply of hydrogen in its core, there is no longer any source of heat to support the core against gravity. Hydrogen burning continues in a shell around the core and the star evolves into a red giant. When the Sun becomes a red giant, its atmosphere will envelope the Earth and our planet will be consumed in a fiery death.

Meanwhile, the core of the star collapses under gravity's pull until it reaches a high enough density to start burning helium to carbon. The helium burning phase will last about 100 million years, until the helium is exhausted in the core and the star becomes a red supergiant. At this stage, the Sun will have an outer envelope extending out towards Jupiter. During this brief phase of its existence, which lasts only a few tens of thousands of years, the Sun will lose mass in a powerful wind. Eventually, the Sun will lose all of the mass in its envelope and leave behind a hot core of carbon embedded in a nebula of expelled gas. Radiation from this hot core will ionize the nebula, producing a striking "planetary nebula", much like the nebulae seen around the remnants of other stars. The carbon core will eventually cool and become a white dwarf, the dense dim remnant of a once bright star."

I think it's obvious that the world will only end when our universe and another collide.

Or when a black hole enters our galaxy. Or when the sun, or a larger sun near us explodes...and creates a black hole.

They don't do that. I've never met a scientist that comes up with stuff like that. Obviously they can't do that because a hypothesis must be tested several times. You can't test how many times the world will and won't end on a certain day unless if you have an actual time machine. And if they had that, then there wouldn't be a purpose in calling it a hypothesis.

how many times have u heard the world is gonna end, how many times have u heard that theres gonna be an astroid hitting earth, but guess wht it never happens
Report as
Yeah, I've heard those things from uneducated people; definitely not scientists.
Report as
u cant prove their from uneducated ppl or if their not scietist
Report as
yeah, actually, I just did. Like I said, they can't come up with stuff like that because it must be tested several times. If they can't test it several times, or if it hasn't been, then they cannot come up with it. They can say things such as may or it could happen, but those are the key words. For example, in this article:http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2146716/Huge-asteroid-set-swipe-Earth-February-destroy-satellites--return-hit-2020.html
The article does not say that it will, it says that it might. If you get the idea that it says it will then obviously you can't understand simple English. I have my evidence that they are uneducated people and can't be scientists. Not give me your evidence that they are.

No scientist said that....the world will end someday when the sun ends, but that is a long time off.

The only thing scientists predicted when the world is going to definitely end, is when the Sun dies out. Which would technically be true. The other theories about the world ending were made by foolish people, who were NOT scientists.

Scientists did not come up with that nonsense. Archeologists deciphered the Mayan Calender to mean the Mayans believed the world would end at a certain time. Not that the archeologists believed but that the Mayans believed. The idiot media twisted what the archeologists said and started a paper selling frenzy. Happy New Year.
