How do I increase my flexibility?

I am trying to do Cheerleading but need to become more flexible, so how do I do that. I have almost no flexibility so I need some help.

I'm pretty flexible.. To stretch my legs I do splits. but if your splits are already flat try putting your feet on a stack of books then do the splits. to stretch your back do a backbend and try putting your head in between your legs. and I don't know what this is called but you lay flat on your stomach and put your feet over your shoulders. do a butter fly stretch, it's hard but it will help, you could also try looking on YouTube, it has a lot of videos about fitness and stuff

Stretch every day for 5-10 minutes. *Remember to warm up for 5 minutes

Tie chi helps with your balance, you could try yoga or actually just regular stretches, don't over stretch yourself or you could tear your tendon(s).

Yoga helps you with the relaxation part and great stretching exercises and then try gymnastics for strengthen.
