Does cutting your foot open affect your balance?

Right below the ankle on the inside of the foot, I hope to get an answer.... Even if its about 1/2 in. Deep? I had to have stitches

I don't believe this will affect your balance, although it might leave you with a limp for some time. The legs are not among the organs that maintain balance. The inner parts of your ears help you keep your balance. Read on from www.wisedude.com/health_medicine/balancing_act.htm.

WARNING ! , , , Anytime you have a cut or puncture wound on your foot , Keep it very clean at all times , Your foot is subject to alot of bacteria which cause infection very easily , I learned the hard way when i stepped on a tiny piece of glass , Use 91% rubbing alcohol frequently after washing your foot and use Neosporin antibacterial ointment along with a bandage , Remove the bandage when you go to bed to allow the cut to breathe which helps speed up the healing process , In the morning , Apply alcohol to the cut , Then the Neosporin and a bandage , Even though alcohol stings , It's worth it to stop infection , I wear sneakers all the time and I discovered that if I cut my foot , I do the above things and I spray the alcohol in my sneakers daily , Just enough to dampen the inside, It kills bacteria which can work it's way into the cut which can cause infection , Reducing the risk of infection , Change the bandage daily , It is very important
So please Remember , SAFETY FIRST!!!!!
