Keeping in mind that I'm not a kid, I'm 60 years old with health issues. Here's my daily exercise. I have an exercise bike which I ride for 30 minutes, and do a minimum of 6 miles. I do this late morning and in the evening (total 60 minutes/12 miles minimum daily) . Then between 2:00 and 3:00 afternoons I walk my dog for 2 to 3 miles.
I changed my lifestyle and now I chose movement whenever possible. By that I mean stairs instead of elevators, Park in the back of parking lots instead of close to the door, walk my dog as far as he wants to go, rake my own leaves, cut my own grass. Many things I use to have someone else do. I don't take short cuts anymore. These things may not seem like intense excercise but they are lifestyle changes that make a dramatic difference.
