both but if has cocoa powder then i have to say count me out sorry bro because cocoa powder if it is prominent enough it tastes like coffee and i dont like coffee

You can never go wrong with chocolate. But if you do red velvet then top it with cream cheese icing and cut strawberrys to put on it. :)

I double checked this on my Food Network app before answering. Red velvet cake (which I love but I am diabetic so can't go there) is essentially chocolate cake.
