Anyone care to share thoughts on dreams?

I recently had a dream that is not like any that I normally have or have ever had. I dreamed I was at my home, my spouse and one of my children were there. What I recall is that I was using a bug spray and spraying many many bugs near my front door. My husband was standing near by watching and barking instructions. Then all of these tarantula's started crawling around my feet and were coming from the edge of the wall near the door towards me. I was spraying them one by one and when the spray hit them this dark fluid will spill from beneath them. Suddenly they would pop from the floor slightly and become very large and alive again and come at me. My husband was yelling to spray them. I jumped up on a chair and was still trying to spray them. My husband and my child were not afraid because the spiders were all coming towards me and not bothering them but they were multiplying and this was stressing my husband out. Then I started to fall from the chair and this woke me up.
What do u think?

Dreams are your Body's way of rationalizing the events in your life. Your mind reviews what is happening against past experiences and releases stress and worry by trivializing hard-to-bear feelings. It's all very healthy and ABSOLTELY essential to your general wellbeing. If you have recurring dreams or frequent nightmares, it is time to talk to a Psychotherapist or even a Clinical Hypnotherapist. They can take you back into your dreams so that you can ask questions and talk to the annoyances. GREAT stuff!!!

Interesting actually. I am 40 yrs old and I have had one odd, reoccurring dream my entire life. As far back as I can recall. I have this dream maybe only 3-4 times a year. Sometimes less. I would love for someone to break it down sometime.

In a guided session (Hypnotherapy), you can actively participate in that dream and find out what is not being resloved. Once the block is identified and removed, the niggling worry will be gone!!!

I am interested in this. The dream is really .... I don't know the word. Odd iguess. Not sure it has a meaning or resolution. I have assumed that I have carried that dream with me my entire life because it bothers me so. My mind wont let it go. But hypnotherapy could be fun all the same.

I have crazy dreams about evil things too. I have always assumed it was due to my background. My Dad was a minister. And thoughts of good and bad are in my mind all the time. Such as, will God be mad if I do this? Or will it please God if I think this?

Ha ha. A dream is just you resolving events in your life. Nothing "comes true" as a result of dreaming. And fairies don't sit at the bottom of your bed, either....
Report as
No fairies? Thats a let down. :D

Fairies live at the bottom of your garden!
