Is the Nintendo wii U worth spending time and money on?

Report as

Yes! I just got one last week! It's incredible, but I prefer you get the deluxe insted of basic. It's has 32 GB insted of 8 GB, and includes Nintendo Land as well! Though it costs 350 plus tax, it's still a good bargain... But you have to have an HDMI cable for it to work. If not, it won't work.... And once you get it, it HAS to update for 3 hours, worth it though...

So then other people can see it, and they would need to see it on the screen when they're playing with a wii remote, duh.

It's not just good for kids, it's good for adults and teens as well. It has COD Black ops 2, Assasins Creed 3, ZombiU, Netflix, Amazon, Hulu+, and WiiU chat. Enjoyable for all ages.

+ more so it's a waste of money

Did you buy it? No. Did you try it out? No. YOU tell ME what you think about it AFTER you get it.

I really would waste time and money. Just buy a PS Vita... It's basically the same thing...

PS vita didn't sell so good, only 1 million sold nationwide. One of the worst sales of 2012.

Soulask, the answers you got are not true, only the person who REALLY bought it and tried it out know.

When I say basically it means there some differences. And 1 million nationwide is a great sale. Wii U isn't really the greatest sale too. I have both, and I rarely play it after two week of having it. I play the PS Vita daily, and I was thinking of selling the Wii U.

Well, WiiU was realeased just last month, so don't except it to be a big flop like PS Vita. Besides 1 million really isn't a great sale at all. Imagine all the 300 million people in this nation, and only 1 million people bought the PS Vita. In the PC World Magazine, that was rated one of the worst sales of 2012. The WiiU was something to excpect in the magazine. Even Smosh, the extreme celebrity in Youtube loves the new WiiU. And if you DID think the WiiU was a big flop, why DID you buy it? You should've done some research before buying it.

That's a PC magazine... Not a gameinformer magazine or an actual gaming magazine. And why did I buy it? It seemed pretty cool at first, but when I played with it... It's the same as having the controller in your hand. It's just a drawing board... And still.. 1 million is an impressive sale for Sony. I'll say it again. FOR SONY. I say that because Sony has lost a tremendous amount of money ever since late 2010. PC Magazine doesn't know how to rank the worst sales. They need I know the facts. So, yeah. I know what I'm saying within the PS Vita side of the answer. It helped Sony by a whole bunch. The Wii U side. Yes, it did came out last month. (Came out a little bit earlier). But, I just can't really see the fun side of it. People were talking about it, and they made it seem fun. So... I bought it. There. I've answered the question. I have proven my point.

That;s not smart, hearing about people saying it was fun? You should've gone to the convention, that's what I did.
Report as
And besides, PC magazine did say what really were the worst sales: Google TV, Ping, PS Vita, and the 3D HD Tv's.

I've said it once. I'll say it again. The PS Vita was a great sale. For Sony. Think about the company who made it and start shoving other people's opinions into my throat. And, I do. I just mentally give my opinions or thoughts. :/ And you don't know about the other countries out there. So, use that brain of yours. Some other countries have the PS Vita too y'know. So, again, I have proven my point.

well, it was good for Sony, cuz Sony isn't as fun as Nintendo. Besides, this is only you're answer, and a few others, and I'd like to argue, but I think it's useless knowing you'll take Sony's side. So give me you're evidence, and I'll give you mine!

Nintendo isn't as fun as Sony. Look at the exclusives for the PS3. Nintendo was a great console. When I was a kid... Which is like... 15 or 14. But... All the gaming companies, departments, are fine and great to buy from. I don't take sides. I take evidence from both sides and give my opinion. Sometimes my opinions looks like I'm taking sides, but I was pointing out some things people don't really see. So, yeah. I thought all these answers were personal opinions but, psh. It seemed like someone had to judge people's opinions... :/
