I've just started solving Rubik's cubes and my average time is only 5 min. (which is awful). How do I go faster, just practice?

Also is this faster, slower, or average time of someone new to this?

Yeah, just keep practicing, and develop a method. I mean, I can't do them, so I think 5 minutes is amazing. But if you want to improve, my boyfriend did them everyday at lunch last year the whole time and he can do them in like 20 seconds or something. So, as long as you can keep practicing, you'll get better.

Thxs I didn't know if it was some special trick or what.

Well, there's a few different techniques to complete them but since you can get them done, you shouldn't have a problem. Just practice. (: I would find the combination that takes the least amount of moves and work off it.
